When a bot needs AI — and when a script is enough
Start with a menu and booking. Add AI when the same questions arrive in many wordings.
A salon often only needs buttons: service → slot → contact. An auto shop needs a request form and statuses. AI only makes the launch more expensive there.
AI pays off when customers write freely: “how much for a shift in Novi Sad?”, “what if mud / concrete?”, “can you do tomorrow morning?”. Then a model helps detect intent and collect fields, while a hard script stays the backbone.
We almost always ship a narrow scenario first. AI comes second — on real logs, not on fantasies about a “smart assistant”.
